What is that you put inside my mouth??

Over the weekend, mommy and daddy decided that I am ready for some new food. They asked my doctor, and he gave them a "go ahead".
On a nice and happy Saturday morning, after my breakfast, mommy put me on my nice high chair. I watched them cook in the kitchen, and talk to grandparents. Then mommy shove something into my mouth! Ewww!! What is that thing?? I used my tougue and push it out! It's a rubber spoon with stuff on it. It's watery and mushy at the same time. It taste OK, but it's weird at the same time. I really don't like it. After a few tries, mommy gave up.
A few hours later, she did the same thing again! This time I was in my Bumbo seat. I did try some this time. Not too bad taste, although I still do not like it!!

Stuffy nose! Runny nose

I got my very FIRST COLD this weekend. My nose was so stuffed up, I can barely breathe with my nose! Mommy and daddy stucked some thingy up my nose, and sucked all the yummy snot out of my nostril. I do not like it at all, but it helped cleared up my nose so that I can eat and sleep well.
My stuffy nose lasted about 1 week. In that week i didn't sleep well, or eat well at all. I was so stuffed up it was so hard to sleep through the night. Mommy brought me into her bed a few mornings, and it was great to snuggle up right next to her and daddy.
Now that my cold is over, they don't put me in their bed anymore. :(

Ouchie!! I fell

I got my first boo-boo this morning. Mommy put me on the bed, and I was having too much fun rolling on the bed, and inching myself forward one little ince at a time. Within minutes, I am at the edge of the bed! Woohoo!! I was so excited, and wonder what was on the floor. I pushed myself a little inch forward, and OPPPSSSS! I fell down the bed!!
I was in shocked, and I can see mommy was in shock too. She ran over and carried me away as I was wailing and sobbing hard. It was very scary!! Mommy hugged me and kissed me all over, and it was all better after that. I was still in shock, but being in mommy's arms made it all better, and I felt so safe.
Well, that didn't really stop me from trying to dive off the bed/couch. I still love to inch forward to the edge, and attempt to dive off. But mommy and daddy now put up "barriers" to stop me from going over. Oh Well... I guess I will stay put on top of the bed/couch for now!

I am 4 months old!

Hey Ya'all! I am 4 months old today. Time flies, so fast, like a blink of eye, I am 4 months old. It felt like it was yesterday when i was still in a warm and dark place inside mommy where I have food on demand. Well, I still get food on demand, but it all rely on how fast mommy comes and get me!
I am growing bigger and bigger each day (12 lbs now), and grow longer and longer (25 inches). My head is still pretty small though! I am still wearing newborn size hat! I think I inherited mommy's small size head, she's still wearing kid's sized hat!
Now that I am 4 months old, mommy is going to start me on cereal. I will talk about it in my next post!

I am a tummy sleeper!

Finally, mommy and daddy stop wrapping me up at night when i go to bed. I love it!! First night was a bit of an adjustment for me, then i figure out NOW i have the freedom to do anything I want. I can stuck my thumbs/sleeves into my mouth, I can roll over to my tummy, I can kick and flail my arms around, etc. It's pretty cool! Speaking of rolling over to my tummy, I love sleeping on my tummy. I think I am like mommy, a tummy sleeper.

I sleep a lot better on my tummy, and don't get startle at all. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I can prop myself up with my elbow, and look around finding another comfy position to sleep. This is so different than when I was stuck on my back all wrapped up. I can hardly move, and can't get up at all. All i can see is the ceiling, which is not too bad, but i get bored sometimes!

Mommy loves to come in to my room, and check on me, and sometimes she will move me back to my back. UGH, i don't like it at all. She can't trick me into sleeping on my back. I usually just roll back to my tummy, and make some little whiny noise. The whiny noise always works for me! Mommy and Daddy will usually ran out of my room immediately when they hear that! Hehehe...
So, Mommy, please leave me alone! I AM A TUMMY SLEEPER, just like you! ;Þ

New stuff!

This past weekend, I am trying to err... LOL out loud. I did it a couple of times, and it was FUN to express my happiness out loud. Mommy was so silly and funny, and I just couldn't help it and giggled. Daddy and Mommy was so excited to hear my giggles!! Hehehe... I was so proud of myself!!
Another great stuff I just learned over the weeks is turning over! I got bored just staring at the ceiling all the time, i decided that it's time to roll over to side and my belly to explore more! After a few times of unsuccessful attempts with my arm stucked underneath my belly, I finally made it!! I am one smart baby!! As daddy said I am a Smart-let!
Let see what's next for me? Hmm... maybe I will try commando crawl next! hhehehe...

I am 100 days old

Hello World! I have been here for 100 days old, not including the time I was inside mommy's warm and comfy womb.

I have been crying, fussing, feeding off mommy, breathing on my own, etc for 100 days now! WOW!! Time flies. So far, I am loving it. Here's to more and more and more days to come. I love my life!

Where Am I? Where's grandma? Who are all these people?

Hello... Where is my grandma? On Monday, I realize that mommy and daddy put me in my carseat and took me to some center. There are other babies there too. Where is my grandma? Where AM I?? There are people that I don't know holding me, feeding me and rocking me. There are other babies crying there. I am in a strange place that I don't know. I don't know anyone there. Luckily there are people that still carry me around, and cuddle up with me. I saw mommy and daddy sometimes and they played with me.
I really don't know where am I and who are all these people. Mommy and daddy keep taking me back to this place, 3 days in a row now. I better get used to it, and make friends with other babies there. I miss my grandma!!

Mommy bought me a Mei Mei Hat!

Last Saturday, we went shopping at The Legends. It was a nice and sunny day, and I slept nicely in my carseat. I woke up at around 3pm, when mommy was shopping in Gap Outlet. I was feeling a bit lonely in the carseat by myself. I want to see the world too. Mommy took the hint, and picked me up from the carseat. It was great to be able to see everything. Mommy walked over to the baby section, and start looking at all the mei mei clothes and hats and pants and dresses. I love them all!! But mommy decided to get me just a hat! OH, by the way, I made a doodie too while in the store! :P
After we are done with shopping at the GAP Outlet, mommy and daddy went to Panera to change me, and attempt to feed me. I was not hungry, I want to play and see the world! Mommy put the new hat on me, and daddy took some pictures of me and my new hat. I was so mei mei!!

Guess what I can do now?!

Hey hey, guess who's a smart one now? ME! Guess why? I can flip over from my tummy to my back!! Yeah!! No more TUMMY TIME!
I have figured out how to turn from my tummy to my back last weekend. It was a bit tough at the beginning, took me about 10 minutes to do it, but now, I can flip over in a matter of seconds!! How smart am I? Very very SMART!!
So, no more tummy time for me. Everytime mommy or daddy put me on my tummy, I will just flip over to my back and stare at their shock and happy faces. Hehehe... I am that good! :)

I am in my own room!

This weekend, mommy and daddy put me in my own room, in my new crib. It was pretty nice. Although I am now far away from them, I still can smell them on my crib. My crib is really big for me, and I can kick and punch and attempt the turn all over the place. I love the little aquarium tank musical thingy in my crib. I used my little leg to activate it all night long.
I am now sleep from 8:30 till 4am, then woke up for some snuggle and milk and play. Except mommy and daddy are not too much into playing with me at 4 in the morning. They just want to dump me back to my room and go back to sleep. To get back at them, I screamed and cried at 5:30am so that they have no choice but to come get me! :P
Today, I refused to go back to sleep in my room after daddy fed me at 3am. (yep, I woke up at 3 instead of 4). Mommy put me in the bed with her and snuggle up with me. I want to play, not sleep!! But, she tricked me into sleeping... I didn't know what happened, but when she woke me up at 7am, I realized that I went back to sleep at 4am, and slept till 7am. Mommy, stop tricking me into sleeping again!
Although I love my new crib and room, I still love sleeping with my mommy and daddy. It is so nice to snuggle up with them and sleep together!

2 months old!

wow! time really flies! Can you believe it, I am 2 months old now. I am so big now, mommy kept complaining that her wrist hurts when she hold me. At my 2 months check up, I found out that I am 9lbs 12oz, and 22 1/2 inches long. Dr. Wichman was really nice to me, but not the nurse who jabbed me 4 times! Can you believe it? 4 TIMES!! OUCH! It really hurts a lot!!

Mommy is back to work this week, so I am spending my morning and afternoon with my grandma. I like grandma a lot! Unlike mommy, she carries me around the house and pick me up as soon as I cry.

I love talking to mommy, daddy and grandma. I love staring into their eyes and face. Oh, also, I love my tongue! I love sticking my tongue out, and playing with my drool. It's fun, although I don't understand my mommy doesn't like it!

1 month old!

I am 1 month old now! Wow... I can't believe that I am 1 month old now. Let's see I have learned in a month. I can roll from my back to my side now. I can hold my head up a little longer now. I can give mommy and daddy a little smile now and then. I can see a lot further now, and I love seeing the toys hanging on top on my swing and carseat.

I have gained 1lbs and 11oz, and almost 2 inches. I am growing really fast. Some of my clothes are too tight on me now. :) Daddy called me "fei boh" and mommy loves to pinch my chubby cheeks!

On my 1 month old birthday, grandma made some yummy noodles and hard boiled eggs for mommy and daddy. The food smell so good, but I don't get to eat any of those. Luckily mommy ate a whole bunch, I got some from her milk!

They dressed me up nice and pretty and took me go shopping at Town Center Plaza that day! I slept through the whole thing of course, but woke up just in time when they were enjoying their pizza dinner! :P Overall, I had a fun fun fun day!!

Happy 1 month old to me!

4 weeks checkup

I had my 4 weeks checkup today. I was 7lbs 12oz and 20 3/4 inches long. Mommy and daddy were very happy with my progress today. I am glad too! They did a great job with me.

Dr Wichman came in and did all kind of test on me. I hate the one where he press my hips down on the exam table. Other than that, everything went pretty well, until the nurse showed up and JAB me in my thigh! Hello lady! It HURTS!!! I screamed and wailed. Luckily mommy was there to hold me and snuggle up with me.

I don't want to have to get jabbed again. I don't like the lady nurse anymore!!

I am 3 weeks old today!

Hello everyone! How's everyone doing? I am doing just fine, a bit cranky now and then, but as long as mommy feed me, change me and hold me all the time, I am fine!! I love to be held. I don't like it when I am being left alone in the swing or the bassinet, or even on the bed. I love cuddle with mommy and daddy.
Mommy said that I am a naughty little girl, but grandma defended me! Ha ha! I am grandma and grandpa's favorite grandchild!

Out and about!

I had a fun weekend this past week. Mommy and daddy took me out for the first time. We went to Starbucks and Target. I enjoyed it a lot!! I want to be out more. Although the sun was shining really bright, but it was a bit windy. I was cold and cranky for a while, until mommy fed me and brought me inside the store.
Next we went to Target for a little shopping. The store was bright and loud and warm. I enjoyed my nap in there.
I really love to be out and about. Staying home all week long was really boring!!

2 weeks old today!

Hola! I am 1 week older, 1 week wiser, and 6oz heavier! My mommy is so happy that I am 6lb 7oz today. I have re-gained back to my birth weight and more. Hopefully mommy and daddy won't disturb my beauty sleep to get me to eat anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love milk, but I do love my beauty sleep too!

I am 1 week old today!

I am exactly 1 week old today. So far, I have been eating like crazy and pooping and peeing like diapers grow on trees! Hahaha...
I love cuddle up to my mommy and daddy all the time, in fact, I will only sleep on them. I don't like to be by myself in the bassinet, or anywhere else alone. I love to be held and rocked and cuddled up. :)

Hello World!!

Hola! I am finally here. I made my grand entrance on March 19th 2008 at 12:26am. I am a midnight owl! Or like my grnad uncle Phow said, I am a little mouse that loves to roam out at night. hehehe...
I love my mommy and daddy very much, and I can tell that they love me a lot too. I am glad that I am finally here.
To all the uncles and aunties that came visit me at the hospital, thanks! I love the company and attention.

My grandparents are here!!

Grandma and Grandpa, hello from the womb. I am so excited that you are here already. I couldn't stop kicking and punching mommy all night. I just want to say HELLO to them. I love grandma's gentle touch. Unlike mommy and daddy who always poke me so hard, grandma gently stroke my little feet and knee, and talks to me in her gentle voice.

I want to meet my grandparents, but it's so comfy and cozy inside mommy's tummy. I want to keep staying in here. I know mommy has issued me an eviction notice, but mommy, it's so warm and nice and dark in here. I don't want to come out just yet.

4 more weeks

Mommy, Daddy, I just want to yell out, 4 MORE WEEKS!! I am going to see you soon. I am so EXCITED!!

By the way, I am running out of space in my habitacion. I can't move around freely anymore. My legs kept bumping into something that feels bony. I tried to kick real hard, but mommy's hand pressing down on me. That's not fun at all! :(

Mommy went to class

Last night, mommy and daddy took me to Child Birth Prep Class. There were a lot of women that look like mommy with big big belly. I wish I can talk to the other babies inside them too.

There was a video about pain management the instructor lady played in the class. I could feel mommy tense up when she saw the video. I am so sorry, mommy, I didn't know I will cause you pain. I promise you I will try to be good when I come out!

The last 30 minutes of the class, mommy got to relax as daddy was massaging her. As for me, I was hyper the whole time, squirming and kicking and punching mommy the whole time. I just want to be a part of this!

Hiccups!!

I have been getting hiccups a lot lately. I don't know why, and I don't like it at all!! Sometimes I get those 2-3 times a day. :(
Daddy loves them though, he will press his ear on mommy's belly to listen to my hiccups! I just don't get it. Why is it so much fun to listen to me hiccuping?

Hey mama and dada, please please please stop poking me. I am not a toy, I am your cutie pie, your super cute ah bebe le. I love the gentle rub, stroke and talks. But not the poke and push, please be gentle!

Super Bowl!

Yesterday was a fun and exciting day. It was super bowl Sunday. I can feel mommy's heart thumping really fast and really loud. I can hear daddy screaming go go go... and I can hear mommy said TOUCHDOWN! All this excitement, I just want to bounce and dance and kick and punch with them!!
With all this excitement, I could not sleep last night. I just kept tossing and turning and kicking all night long. I know mommy wasn't happy about it, but I just couldn't help it. Sorry, mommy!

I love sugar!!

Do I love sugar?! Oh Yeah!! It makes me hyper and happy. Mommy had some brownie yesterday, and I was doing my moves all afternoon! Jumping, kicking, squirming, swimming, punching... Yeah mommy, it was fun.

8 more weeks!!

I am growing bigger and bigger each day. I can hear mommy complain about her belly getting big. That's because I am getting BIG! Duh, mommy!!
Squirming and kicking is what I do the best these days. Sorry, mommy, a baby gotta practice her moves in the womb.

I am almost there! I can't wait to see my mommy and daddy!
